Hidden in plain sight, one finds many examples of public art scattered throughout the Mid-Valley. They are realized in larger than life creations as well as through the paintings of Basalt’s children. Some are temporary, like the series of five interconnected sculptures created by artist Wynn Earl Buzzell, Jr. Others have been in place for years, blending unobtrusively into the local landscape.
