Leon Russell’s son to play two performances with Suzzanne Paris in Basalt

Teddy Jack, the multi-talented son of Leon Russell and Mary McCready, will play two performances with Roaring Fork Valley sensation Suzzanne Paris in downtown Basalt this weekend.

On Friday, Feb. 15, he will perform at the Art of Hair, 160 Midland Ave. from 6-9 p.m. That event, which will also serve as a CD release party, will be free of charge. Limited-edition CDs hand signed by the artists will be available.

On Saturday, Feb. 16, the twosome will perform at Heather’s in downtown Basalt.

Hailing from L.A., Teddy Jack has made records and toured across America for the last 20 years. A child prodigy, he has played and engineered in the studio with the likes of Leon and Mary Russell, Dave Mason, the Oakridge Boys, Bruce Hornsby, Clarence Gatemouth Brown and the Chambers Brothers

He has played on stages from David Letterman, Jay Leno, to the Grand Ol’ Opry, Willie Nelson’s Picnic and the 40th Anniversary of “The Summer Of Love.”

Suzzanne is an award-winning, Grammy entered, singer/songwriter/guitarist who has toured, recorded and played with artists such as Dave Mason (Traffic), Jeffrey Skunk Baxter (Steely Dan), Bo Diddley, Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix), Richie Havens, Stephen Stills (CSN&Y), John Denver, Michael Bolton, Phil Brown (Little Feat) and many others.
